Pākiki Kids is a weekly one-day programme for gifted children in Dunedin (Years 3-8).
Pākiki Kids is a local, independent gifted education programme which has been operating in Dunedin for more than 13 years. It is run by Dunedin North Intermediate School and located at 34 North Road, North East Valley, Dunedin. Pākiki Kids delivers a specialised curriculum while also offering gifted students the opportunity to learn with like-minded peers. Applications to Pākiki Kids Students are selected to attend Pākiki Kids based on the outcome of a written application and participation in a workshop. Gifted students from all schools are welcome to apply, as well those who are home-schooled. Pākiki Kids 2025 Pākiki Kids has only one intake per year (at the start of the school year in February) and the application process takes place in Terms 3-4 of the year before, so we will not be able to accept any new students now for 2025. Application packs for students to attend the programme in 2026 will be available from the Pākiki Kids Coordinator early in Term 3, 2025. If you have any questions about the programme or would like an application pack once they become available later this year, then please contact the Pākiki Kids Coordinator. |
